Jean-Pierre Pernaut: why confinement reminds him of his cancer: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

Like all French people, Jean-Pierre Pernaut is following the containment measures linked to the coronavirus epidemic. Monday, March 30, the iconic face of the 1-hour news from TF1 was expressed on the set of LCI in the chronicle of a confined. Jean-Pierre Pernaut revealed that he had already experienced this isolated situation at home when he was fighting his prostate cancer. "I'm used to it because I was in total confinement for six weeks when I was operated on for my cancer of the prostate a year and a half ago ", did he declare. Nathalie Marquay's husband to continue: "I stayed at home for six weeks without moving (…) stuck in my sofa". Jean-Pierre Pernaut even managed to find the positive in the current situation. This time he can go "from her sofa to her desk"or even take a few steps in its "garden".

Confined to the home, Jean-Pierre Pernaut still participates in the news

Since March 17, 2020, Jean-Pierre Pernaut has entrusted the presentation of the news to Jacques Legros, his joker. "It's not telework, it's home TV, small automatic studios, it allows me to stay in touch with you and follow the information of course", he confided then. From his house, Jean-Pierre Pernaut offers a tablet every day in the newspaper, the 1 p.m. at home. "I'm still at work but I protect myself", he said. The presenter is helped by his son who takes care of the light and by his daughter, who takes care of the make-up.
