Jeff Bezos is currently enjoying his summer vacation on his yacht off Sardinia. Of course, not without having famous guests on board.
Holiday mood in Sardinia: Jeff Bezos (60) and his partner Lauren Sánchez (54) are currently attracting a lot of celebrities to the Italian island. As the British “Daily Mail” reports, the Amazon billionaire and his fiancée are currently vacationing on their luxury yacht and enjoying the Italian summer sun in the presence of star guests such as Leonardo DiCaprio (49) and his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti (26) as well as Katy Perry (39) and her partner Orlando Bloom (47).
Yacht holiday on the famous Costa Smeralda
The group was spotted disembarking in a dinghy at Nikki Beach on the famous Costa Smeralda. The celebrity vacationers are currently cruising around the popular Italian Mediterranean island on Bezos’ superyacht Koru. At 127 meters long, Koru is one of the longest sailing yachts in the world. The yacht’s construction costs are estimated at $500 million. There is space for 18 guests in total. It was built in the Netherlands especially for Jeff Bezos, and the first test drives took place in February and May 2023.
Already on holiday together last year
Last year in August, Bezos and Sánchez spent their summer vacation in Croatia with their famous friends – including Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom – on the yacht. Before that, at the beginning of August 2023, they celebrated their engagement in Italy on the $500 million yacht with a prominent guest list. The guests are said to have included Bill Gates (68), Kris Jenner (68), Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire (49) and Andrew Garfield (40). The couple are said to have become engaged in May 2023 after a five-year relationship. When proposing, Bezos is said to have put a 20-carat ring on the US journalist’s finger.
Before his relationship with Lauren Sánchez, Jeff Bezos was married to MacKenzie Scott (54) for 25 years. He has four children with her. Sánchez has three children from previous relationships. She was married to Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell (59) for 13 years before they divorced in 2019.
