Jeff Panacloc and Jean-Marc arrived at the cinema on December 20! Will the famous duo’s comedy be entitled to a sequel?
Released in theaters on December 20, Jeff Panacloc: In Pursuit of Jean-Marc introduces us to Jeff, a calm and somewhat candid man. The latter crosses paths with Jean-Marc, a stuffed monkey who has just escaped from a military base.
Special feature: this plush… is alive. Jean-Marc, without embarrassment and without filter, then takes Jeff on a crazy adventure. Between chases, laughter and crazy situations, nothing will go as planned!
After triumphing with his ventriloquism shows, Jeff Panacloc invades the dark rooms with his faithful sidekick with flowery language: Jean-Marc. After many adventures, the tandem manages to get rid of their enemies and the end credits roll. After a few moments, Jean-Marc’s voice is heard, still animated by his irreverent tone.
“Okay, well, it’s over, you’ll have to go now! Oh, you, the other one, put your popcorn away and leave! I really don’t understand these idiots… who stay until the end to see if there’s something at the end. When in fact there’s nothing at the end… or maybe we have a surprise in store… or not”he says to the spectators.
Jean-Marc then makes fun of people by mentioning the “mess” left in the room. “Otherwise, are you going to come see number 2?”, questions the puppet, suggesting that a second part could well see the light of day. Given the popularity of Jeff Panacloc and provided that the first film attracts many spectators to the cinema, it would be logical for a 2nd episode to be quickly started.
This was particularly the case with Les Bodin’s in Thailand. This other popular comedy duo attracted 1.6 million spectators in theaters in 2021. Building on this success, a second opus was launched. In the meantime, the adventures of Jean-Marc have been waiting for you in theaters since December 20!
