Jeff Panacloc talks about his role as an investigator in Mask Singer and explains why several of his interventions and the jokes of his puppet Jean-Marc were cut during the editing.

Season 4 is in full swing and viewers are still waiting for the tele-hook hosted by Camille Combal, with Kev Adams, Vitaa, Chantal Ladesou and Jeff Panacloc at his side on the jury. The ventriloquist is particularly effective and his talents as an investigator had enabled him to recognize from the first prime the actor Frédéric Diefenthal, disguised as gingerbread.
To the point that some viewers are wondering if Jeff Panacloc would not be helped by the production, while Chantal Ladesou revealed there is little to have tried to cheat… “A lot of people think I cheat but not at all!” he explained to Buzz-TV from Figaro, this Tuesday. On the contrary, it is even “misled in the headset” : “We don’t get help on set. We talk a lot between investigators during the performances and they lead us on false tracks when they see that maybe we can get closer to the right answer”. He believes that the process is completely understandable because the entertainment relies on the ability of the production to keep the identity of the stars secret, to maintain a certain suspense.

Too daring jokes
During the same interview, he also spoke about the editing carried out for the last episodes, some having undoubtedly noticed that his puppet was less verbose.
