Another business partner of Jeffrey Epstein was arrested. The French police stopped him at the Paris airport.

Former Epstein business partner Jean-Luc Brunel (74) was taken into police custody in Paris. The French media report unanimously, citing the responsible public prosecutor. According to this, Brunel was arrested at Charles de Gaulle Airport. He is charged with "rape of minors over the age of 15" and "sexual harassment". Investigating judges have now ordered remand detention.

Guilty of human trafficking too?

Brunel reportedly made common cause with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein (1953-2019), who committed suicide in a prison cell in New York. The founder of several modeling agencies may even have organized the transportation and accommodation of young girls and young women for Epstein. So far there is no evidence of this, which is why the authorities do not currently list him as a suspect in the offense of human trafficking.

In addition to Brunel, the Epstein confidante Ghislaine Maxwell (58) is also in custody, who has so far been silent on all charges. Epstein victim Virginia Roberts, 37, claims to have had sexual relations with Brunel as a minor. Roberts also accuses the Queen's son Prince Andrew (60) of abusing her. She had been ordered by Maxwell to have sex with the Royal.
