The first photo of Jenna Ortega on the set of “Beetlejuice 2” has just been released.
The magazine People has unveiled the first set photos of Jenna Ortega in Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice 2.
The actress, seen in the Wednesday series and the last films of the Scream saga, plays here the role of the daughter of Lydia Deetz, a character played by Winona Ryder in the 1988 film. The latter resumes her role 35 years after the first part .
In these photos, Jenna Ortega appears in a wedding dress, while Winona Ryder finds her spiky bangs and her black dress. A look that she already wore on the first photos of filming.
The two actresses play here the counterpart to Michael Keaton, who takes over the title role, Monica Bellucci, who plays the wife of Beeltejuice, Willem Dafoe, in the role of a policeman from beyond, Catherine O’Hara who returns to her role as Delia Deetz, and Justin Theroux, in an as yet unknown role.
Beetlejuice 2 is currently being filmed in Hertfordshire in the UK.
If we still do not know precisely the story of this suite in development for 30 years, we now know that it will be a question of marriage…
As a reminder, Beetlejuice told the story of a recently deceased couple, Adam and Barbara (Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis), who haunt their ancient home soon to be invaded by a rich and noisy New York family (Catherine O’Hara, Jeffrey Jones and Winona Ryder) wishing to renovate the premises.
Adam and Barbara, scandalized, decide to dislodge the intruders. But their classic ghost tricks and other spells have no effect. That’s when they call on an obnoxious and devious freelance “bio-exorcist”, a certain Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton)…
