Criticism after Corona decoration on the Christmas tree

US star Jennifer Aniston presented her fans with a Christmas tree pendant with a corona motif. Many were shocked.
That probably backfired for Jennifer Aniston (51, "Friends"). The Hollywood star had to take criticism on social media – the reason: a Christmas decoration with a coronavirus motif. After sharing this, according to US media, in a no longer existing Instagram story, she was accused of not taking the pandemic seriously. Aniston reportedly shared a photo of a round, wooden Christmas tree pendant that read "Our First Pandemic 2020".
In the comments it was then said that Aniston was "insensitive". One user wrote: "Cheers to our first pandemic in 2020, in which millions of people died! Let's celebrate it with Christmas decorations!" Others stressed that Aniston campaigned for safety measures during the pandemic, required the wearing of masks, supported local shops and donated to relief funds.
