Jennifer Aniston has been an integral part of Hollywood for several decades. There is hardly a headline she has read more often during her career than about her alleged pregnancies. Speculations that hurt her deeply. She now reveals the reason for this in an interview.

During her long career in show business, Jennifer Aniston, 53, has probably read no headline more often than that about her alleged pregnancy. While she says she “doesn’t give a fuck” about any of that today, she took the speculation and rumors hard with her when she was younger – and for good reason.

Jennifer Aniston has been trying to conceive for a long time

“I tried to get pregnant. It was a difficult path for me, the path of making children,” she admits openly in an interview for the “Allure” magazine for the first time and reveals: “All the many years of speculation … It was really hard. I underwent artificial insemination, I drank Chinese teas and so on. I would do anything for it. I would have given anything if someone told me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself.’ a favor.’ You just don’t think about it. So here I am today. The train has left.”

Today, Jennifer Aniston made her peace with not having become a mother. “I have no regrets,” she says. “I’m actually a little relieved because I don’t have to be like, ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.’ I don’t have to think about that anymore.”

Jennifer Aniston: She clears up rumors

Until a few years ago, however, the “narrative that I was just selfish” was circulating in the media, according to the 53-year-old, who finally takes the opportunity to clear up the bad rumors: “I only cared about my career. And God keep a woman from being successful and not having a child. And the reason my husband left me, why we separated and ended our marriage, was because I didn’t want to give him a child. Those were absolute lies. I did nothing to hide at this moment.”

She vented her anger in a 2016 essay for The Huffington Post, slamming the press for their obsession with Aniston’s pregnancy and dealing with women in general. “I was so frustrated, that’s why I wrote this article,” explains the “Friends” star. “I was like, ‘I just have to write this because it’s so insane and I’m not so superhuman that I can’t let it get to me and hurt me.'”

But Aniston is “grateful for all these damn things” she went through in her late 30s and 40s, otherwise “I’d still be this person who’s so anxious, so nervous and so insecure about who she is,” she explains and clarifies: “And now I don’t give a shit.”
