Is Jennifer Garner really in her 50s? Visually, she has hardly changed over the years – thanks to these beauty secrets.

She’s one of those Hollywood stars who just doesn’t seem to age. It’s hard to believe that Jennifer Garner is celebrating her 50th birthday on April 17th. The actress has hardly changed visually to this day – and that’s no coincidence. Because Garner swears by one or the other beauty secret…

“The skin is most important to me,” she explained in December 2021 in an interview with “Byrdie”. She is “not a make-up guy” and above all loves the fresh feeling on her skin after taking a shower. “In the morning, after training, my skin is washed in the shower,” she says. She also relies on the regular application of sun protection and products with hyaluronic acid. In addition to her face, Garner especially cares for her neck, her eyes and her hands.

But as is well known, even the best and most expensive beauty product is useless if a healthy lifestyle is missing. On Instagram Garner regularly gives insights into her sports and nutrition routine. For years, she’s apparently been keeping fit with a workout combination of dancing, jumping rope, cardio, high-intensity training, and kickboxing.

No junk food at Garner

In addition, the actress likes to stand at the stove and share videos regularly on her account of their cooking and baking results. You can usually see the preparation of vegetables and fruit. Garner launched her own smoothie a few years ago, which contains things like flax and chia seeds, almond butter, protein powder, blueberries and spinach.

Garner also passes on her healthy lifestyle to her three children, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, from her marriage (2005-2018) to Ben Affleck, 49. They don’t bring junk food into their homes, she revealed in 2018 in an interview with “People”. It is important to her that her three offspring “get a rainbow of flavors and dishes”.

After studying chemistry, he started acting

Jennifer Garner should know pretty well what ingredients her beauty products and various foods contain. After all, she began studying chemistry at Denison University in Granville, Ohio, before switching to acting. She quickly realized that her heart beat more for the stage than for science.

As an aspiring actress, she worked part-time in New York, initially as an usher in a restaurant. After her first roles in TV series such as “Felicity” – on the set of which she met her first husband Scott Foley (49, marriage from 2000-2004) – Garner finally made her big breakthrough in 2001: she mimed the tough agent Sydney Bristow of the spy series “Alias” in a total of 105 episodes. This was followed by four Emmy and four Golden Globe nominations, the latter of which she received in 2002.

Garner gained further fame with the films “Pearl Harbor” (2001), “30 Over Night” (2004), “Operation: Kingdom” (2007), “Juno” (2007), “The Womanizer – The Night of Ex-Girlfriends”. (2009), Valentine’s Day (2010) and most recently Dallas Buyers Club (2013), Love, Simon (2018) and The Adam Project (2022).
