On the set of the film "Don't Look Up" there is said to have been an accident in which Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence was injured.

Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence (30, "Silver Linings") was injured on the set of the Netflix film "Don't Look Up", according to US media reports. The film directed by Adam McKay (52) is currently being shot in Brockton, Massachusetts. The actress is said to have been hit by flying fragments after a planned explosion.

According to the Boston Globe newspaper, Lawrence was injured after a trash can blew through a window in one scene. The 30-year-old had apparently not yet left the area. Filming was suspended for a day because of Lawrence's injury, it said. "Page Six" also reports on the accident on the set. According to this, the actress was allegedly hit by splinters of glass in the face, but she should be fine.

Film with a star cast

Other top stars such as Meryl Streep (71), Timothée Chalamet (25), Ariana Grande (27), Leonardo DiCaprio (46), Cate Blanchett (51) and Jonah Hill are said to be in the film, for which McKay also wrote the script (37) can be seen. Not much is known about the plot of "Don't Look Up". According to US media reports, the film is about two unknown scientists, played by Lawrence and DiCaprio, who go on a media tour to find out about humanity to warn approaching asteroids that will destroy the earth.
