All-clear for Jennifer Lawrence. The Oscar winner was able to continue shooting after an accident on the set of "Don't Look Up".

The concern about Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence (30, "Winter's Bone") after an accident on the set of the star-studded Netflix film "Don't Look Up" was fortunately unfounded. After reports made the rounds that the star was hit and injured by fragments flying around after a planned explosion last Friday (February 5), Lawrence was able to return to the camera.

Pictures from the US site "Page Six" are said to show the Oscar winner filming the weekend in Boston. From injuries to her face – most recently it was said that Lawrence had been injured in his eye by flying splinters of glass – nothing could be determined after only a day's break from shooting.

World stars and weird storyline

In addition to Lawrence, her co-star Timothée Chalamet (25) can be seen on the recordings – just one of the numerous world stars in Adam McKay (52) coming strips. The film, for which McKay also wrote the screenplay, also stars Meryl Streep (71), Ariana Grande (27), Leonardo DiCaprio (46), Cate Blanchett (51), Chris Evans (39), Matthew Perry (51) and Jonah Hill (37) with.

Not much is known about the plot of "Don't Look Up". According to US media reports, the film is about two unknown scientists, played by Lawrence and DiCaprio, who go on a media tour to find out about humanity to warn approaching asteroids that will destroy the earth. The planned start date is not yet known.
