Is Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s marriage finally over? “She can’t take it anymore,” an insider now claims.
Jennifer Lopez (54) and Ben Affleck (51) seem to be distancing themselves further and further from each other. For months now, rumors have been circulating in the media worldwide that the two are in a marital crisis. The singer and actress is said to have given up on her husband, as an insider told the British “Daily Mail” claims.
The main reason for the famous couple’s bad mood is said to be Affleck’s permanently bad mood. He is “always grumpy and negative,” says the insider. This makes Lopez sad, she has tried, “but she can’t do it anymore,” says the source. “It’s not getting better, it’s getting worse.”

She is now trying to make the best of it, spending a lot of time with her twins Max and Emme (16), doing a lot of sport and making new plans for 2025, including a continuation of her “This Is Me…” tour, which she unexpectedly canceled this summer for unknown reasons. Lopez also came to the graduation party for Affleck’s son Samuel (12) a few days ago not with her husband, but with her own children from her marriage to Marc Anthony (55). Affleck, on the other hand, appeared with his mother, Chris Anne Boldt. And of course Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner (52), Samuel’s mother, was also there. According to “Page Six” Lopez and Affleck are said to have spent the entire event apart. At least this time, both wore their wedding rings. The symbolic accessory has been missing from numerous paparazzi photos recently.

The question of what is happening with their shared house in Beverly Hills, California also remains. As “TMZ” reported in early JuneLopez and Affleck want to sell their $60 million luxury property. They have reportedly hired real estate agent Santiago Arana from “The Agency” to do the job. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are said to have bought the property together in May last year. However, no buyer has been found yet.

Overall, Lopez is said to be “shocked” by the negative coverage she has received. “She’s really not used to this kind of negative feedback,” the source adds, “but she’ll get over it. She’ll move on.” She’s also currently spending a lot of time with close friends, including her stylist and her singing teacher, they say.
When will the divorce come?
As a result of the rumors, many fans are now wondering when the still-married couple will make their divorce public. Several insiders have already made different statements on the matter. Affleck and Lopez are said to be announcing it “soon” and “on a Friday,” as is often typical for celebrities. The Daily Mail insider said: “I think they want to wait until all the kids are out of school and have finished with the school schedules and everything before they make their big announcement. For them, the kids are their number one priority.” However, there is apparently no sign of a bitter divorce at the moment, and Lopez and Affleck are said to be “on friendly terms.”
Lopez and Affleck were together once before from 2002 to 2004. In 2021 they gave their love a new chance. In July 2022 the two married in Las Vegas. The two have not yet commented specifically on the speculation about the marital crisis. J.Lo was confronted with the rumors by a reporter at a press event for her new film “Atlas” at the end of May. Apparently a little taken aback, she tried to quickly put the question behind her with a laugh: “You know better,” she replied in the short video clip.
