Once again, photos of the celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are fueling speculation about a marriage crisis between the two US stars.
For Jennifer Lopez (53) and Ben Affleck (50) it is the second attempt to have a lasting relationship together. The two were already a couple between 2002 and 2004, until after two exhausting years they decided to go their separate ways again.
Surprisingly, almost twenty years later they found each other again and even said yes in a pompous wedding event on August 20, 2022.
Up until earlier this year, everything seemed to be going beautifully for the newlywed celebrity couple. In February, they even gave their seemingly unwavering bond a lasting expression with a partner tattoo.
Bad mood at the Grammy Awards
Rumors that things weren’t going so well for the two of them began when they were caught on camera having a discordant couple moment at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles that same month. Ben, who was sitting at one of the tables next to his beautiful wife with a grumpy expression on his face, was admonished by J.Lo to be a little more motivated and friendly.
Zoff at the film premieres of “The Mother”?
Adding to the already raging rumor mill was footage of the two at the premiere of the film “The Mother,” which Lopez stars in, on May 10, 2023 in Los Angeles. At their red carpet photo op at the movie theater, they initially appeared to be arguing, with Affleck in particular looking extremely tense.
To clarify what their whispered exchange was about, commissioned the “Daily Mail” even a lip reader. The unspectacular result: Apparently, the alleged dispute was only about the correct positioning for the photographers, and Jennifer also asked Ben whether her cleavage was not too daring.
New photos of argument in the car
Photos and videos that a European tourist now leaked to the “Daily Mail”., now, compared to the previous recordings, raise the suspicion that the house blessing could actually be crooked for the couple. The footage, taken in Beverly Hills in early May, shows the couple sitting in a car together. As Lopez huddles tensely and mostly in silence in the passenger seat, Affleck obviously angrily talks at her. Above all, his aggressive hand gestures, with which he underlines his words, suggest that the captured moment is actually a tangible argument.

The tourist who took the pictures has a similar view. She told the newspaper: “It clearly looks like a heated discussion or argument on his part.” In particular, Affleck’s wife seemed to depress the situation. “J.Lo looked a little sad,” the source explained. “They were so deep in conversation that they didn’t even look to the side. They just looked at each other and the traffic light.”
