Filming on Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s Unstoppable has been halted due to the writers’ strike in Hollywood.

Production of the film “Unstoppable” by Ben Affleck (50, “Argo”) and wife Jennifer Lopez (53) was interrupted on Friday due to the ongoing writers’ strike in Hollywood.

As “Deadline” further reports, it is not known when filming of the biopic, which is being produced by Affleck and Matt Damon’s (52) indie production company Artists Equity, can resume. However, it is expected that this will be the case again at the latest after the end of the strike.

That’s what “Unstoppable” is about

“Unstoppable” tells the true story of Anthony Robles (34). He became a collegiate wrestling champion despite being born with only one leg. Jharrel Jerome (“Moonlight”, 25) will play Robles, with Jennifer Lopez playing his mother. Oscar-winning “Argo” editor William Goldenberg (63) makes his feature film directorial debut with the film. A release date has not yet been announced.
