17 years after the end of “Bennifer”, Jennifer Lopez (51) and Ben Affleck (48) are said to be getting closer again. Both have been single for a few weeks and have been seen together several times. Could the former dream couple of the 2000s really find each other again? These details are known so far.
Vacation together after separating from Alex Rodriguez
After Affleck’s split from Ana de Armas (33) in January and Lopez’s broken engagement to Alex Rodriguez (45) in April reported “Page Six”that the two ex-partners spend time together again. Affleck is said to have visited Lopez several times at her home in Los Angeles at the end of April and allegedly spent several hours there each time. At first it was said by an insider that the two were “just friends”. As reported by “People”, the singer and the actor are said to have spent a week together in the US state of Montana at the beginning of May. The couple was then photographed on their return by private jet in Los Angeles. A source told People, “Jennifer spent several days out of town with Ben. They have a strong bond. It was very quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy.”
Another alleged insider from Ben Affleck’s environment confirmed the trip together to “E! News” and stated, “They’ve kept in touch over the years. Ben got in touch with her and they’ve met for dinner several times over the past month.” The relationship between the two is “very natural”. “They pick up where they left off and enjoy each other’s company.”

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez met in 2001 and soon became a couple. Affleck even made a brief appearance in J.Lo’s music video for “Jenny from the Block” (2002). In November 2002 the two announced their engagement, but a few days before the wedding in September 2003 they decided to postpone it. Around four months later, in January 2004, it was announced that the engagement had broken off.
Lopez married singer Marc Anthony (52) a few months later, with whom she shares twins Emme and Max (13). The two ended their relationship in 2011. In April 2021, the singer separated after four years of relationship and two years of engagement from ex-baseball pro Alex Rodriguez. Ben Affleck found a new partner in actress Jennifer Garner (49). The couple, who have three children, tied the knot in 2005 and separated in 2015. The Oscar winner was in a relationship with Ana de Armas from spring 2020, and the separation followed in January 2021.
