In a conversation on Instagram, Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey remember filming "Wedding Planner" together.
Jennifer Lopez (51, "Hustlers") and Matthew McConaughey (51, "True Detective") celebrated the 20th anniversary of their film "The Wedding Planner – Verliebt, Verlobt, Verplant" via Instagram. "It feels like it was yesterday," recalls Lopez in the conversation. "Remember that scene where you were supposed to kiss me? You said to me, I don't know if you remember it, but you said, 'Miss Lopez, I'm going to kiss you now.' And I said, 'Okay, let's do it. Let's go. '"
McConaughey said this would be a particularly good time to watch the film again. The audience would be longing for 90 minutes of escapism and pleasure, especially after last year. JLo also agrees: "I want a happy ending, I want to know. Even though we have just had a tough year, miracles still happen, love reigns, things can go right, for sure."
The two main actors of Rom-Com also assured themselves how much they would have liked to work together. After McConaughey praised Lopez for her stunts and good preparation, she said, "I enjoyed working with you so much. We had such a harmonious relationship and chemistry. We were both about the beginning of our careers at the time … We should do something together again. It's been too long, 20 years is too long! "
