Is Jennifer Lopez now giving up everything for Ben Affleck? The singer has canceled her tour so that she can be with her family. Insiders suspect that JLo is currently doing everything she can to bring a little lightness back into her marriage.
Around 18 years after their wedding was called off in September 2003, Jennifer Lopez, 54, and Ben Affleck, 51, got back together in spring 2021. From that point on, everything went very quickly, and the two tied the knot in July 2022. JLo even dedicated her album “This Is Me… Now”, released in February 2024, to her great love; almost every song on it is about her relationship with the Hollywood star. One song is even titled “Greatest Love Story Never Told”, but her fairy tale is currently not looking good.

For months, rumors of a breakup have been circulating about the couple, who will celebrate their second wedding anniversary in July. In recent weeks, many people have doubted whether Lopez and Affleck would even make it that far. The former lovebirds have been seen together in public much less often, and when they did step out together, the mood between the two seemed tense. As an insider claims to the “Daily Mail”, the 54-year-old even took advantage of the speculation about her relationship status: “Jennifer allowed the breakup rumors to spread while she was on the press tour for her new film ‘Atlas’, because when people talk about you, it can be good publicity. But she now sees that Ben didn’t like it.”
Now Lopez is said to be doing everything she can to make her husband “feel better” in their marriage again. For him – as well as her children and friends, according to the singer’s official statement – JLo even canceled her “This Is Me… Live” concert tour on May 31, 2024, which was supposed to start on June 26. The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer has allegedly only now realized that she should have taken a clearer stance against the separation rumors, the insider explains.

Since actions often speak louder than words, the musician now wants to invest all of her free time in being together with Ben Affleck, it is said. Lopez wants to return to the butterflies in her stomach that she felt when the movie star came back into her life two years ago. “She wants to fall in love with Ben again and go back to what brought them together in the first place,” the source reveals.
But the couple would only achieve this if they worked on their communication. “Some have said that the way they spend money is putting a strain on their relationship, but that’s not the case. It’s because their communication isn’t right.” In fact, that seems to have been the reason for their separation in January 2004.
