Jennifer Lopez raves about the first Christmas with Ben and the kids
The family reunification of Jennifer Lopez, 53, and Ben Affleck, 50, has been more than successful: the two repeatedly emphasize how well JLo’s twins Max and Emme, 14, get along with the actor’s kids, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 13, and Sam, 10, understand. The first joint Christmas party was apparently a complete success, as the pop diva now reveals in her newsletter “On the JLo”.
In it she writes: “We have mixed families, twice as many people, twice as much fun, twice as much love, twice as many gifts and triple the chaos!” In addition, the musician could have held a proper Christmas party for the first time since the pandemic. This time she hosted it together with her husband. Videos in which the two sing a duet during the party circulated a few days ago. “The party was attended by family, friends, colleagues and people we have known for years. We sang and danced and had a lot of fun!” Sounds like Jen and Ben had a wonderful time together with their loved ones.

Aaron Carter’s fiancee shares heartbreaking lines
The music world was in shock when it was announced in early November that Aaron Carter, aged just 34, had been found dead at his home in Lancaster, California. Carter’s fiancée and his son’s mother, Melanie Martin, were particularly hard hit, and she wrote moving lines on social media shortly after his death.
Now Melanie had to spend Christmas without her partner for the first time. On her Instagram channel, she posted a video showing her with her family and her 13-month-old son Prince over the holidays. “We can’t see you with our eyes anymore, but we can feel you in our hearts forever,” she wrote to Aaron.
Lily Collins was too “green” behind the ears
Nobody can avoid her show “Emily in Paris”: Lily Collins, 33, has reached the peak of her career. However, this was not a sudden success overnight, as she now tells in an interview with “V Magazin”. Although Lily is the daughter of the world-famous musician Phil Collins, 71, she was denied the current breakthrough.
In the beginning I was turned down a lot. I got a “no” over and over again. The feedback was that I was too green behind the ears.
“Too green” – what that actually means, Lily only understands later in her career. There was talk of “more maturity, practice and experience”. Still, the actress and producer appreciates the rejection now, because she didn’t take it as “no, that’s not for you,” but as “no, not now.” “You really have to develop a backbone to get through the negativity because you’re not always going to get good reviews. I haven’t always gotten good reviews – believe me.”
She worked as a journalist before she started her career as an actress at the age of 20 with films such as “The Blind Side” and “Abduction”. “I’ve written for magazines since I was 16, in England.” To this day she is grateful for this “unique form of media training”. Now she has recently founded her own production company – she couldn’t be prouder of that. Because even at university she noticed that the conception of content fulfills her just as much as its presentation.
