Many mothers know the feeling of physical insecurity after giving birth. So did Jennifer Lopez, who now revealed what helped.

Jennifer Lopez (54) has spoken openly about her problems with her body after the birth of her twins in 2008. As the online portal “E! News” reports, the actress and musician presented her own fitness trainer Tracy Anderson (48) with the “Outstanding Achievement in Fitness” award at the Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles and gave a laudatory speech.

It was Anderson who motivated her to feel better in her body again in 2008 after the birth of Maximilian David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz (both 15). “I’ve been thinking a lot about myself lately and examining the past versions of myself in order to fully embrace my current self,” a very self-reflective Lopez said on stage. She remembers how Tracy “inspired and encouraged” her to celebrate every version of her body as her life and needs suddenly changed.

“I met Tracy right after my twins were born. I called her at a time when I was feeling insecure and wondering if I would ever go back to the way I was before – like most new mothers afterward of birth,” Lopez continued. The time with Anderson was very crucial for her. She helped her embrace her new self while also realizing that she could be stronger than ever before.

Lopez married the singer Marc Anthony (55), whose real name is Marco Antonio Muniz, in 2004. Around four years later she gave birth to their twins. After separating in 2011, she married US actor Ben Affleck (51) in 2022, to whom she was already engaged before her relationship with Anthony. This is Lopez’s fourth marriage.
