Single bells? This is how the actress sums up Christmas

This year’s Christmas is over and Jenny Elvers is also making a big dent in the festive season. She starts to philosophize a little – and perhaps gives a little insight into what her love life is currently like.
Jenny Elvers doesn’t believe in “unhappy singles” at Christmas time
“You spend weeks decorating, wrapping presents, thinking about what to eat (…) and then: Bam, it’s over!” is how Jenny sums up what’s probably going through many people’s minds after the holidays. However, she seems completely relaxed. A good sign. The festival doesn’t seem to have had any unpleasant surprises in store for her. But the actress noticed one thing: “Have you seen one or two Christmas films?” she asks the virtual group. “Have you noticed that all the singles are always incredibly unhappy in the Christmas films?” Then she shakes her head and smiles mysteriously: “They’re not!” Is this an indication of her current relationship status?
It wasn’t until May 2023 that she revealed to RTL: “Yes, I’m dating.” Her son Paul, 22, is said to have even supported her in matters of love. “God, if I had gotten a go from Paul every time, I would have been saved a lot,” she explained at the time. “It’s of course important that a partner gets along with the family and vice versa. But everyone also has their freedom, that’s very clear. I would never get involved.” In September, however, in front of the camera at Movie Meets Media in Berlin, she initially tried to avoid the question of a new man in her life.
Actress doesn’t turn her heart into a murder pit
“I like being in love,” she admitted with a meaningful smile. “That’s nice. I think it’s wonderful to have butterflies in my stomach.” When asked whether she was currently in love, she answered ironically: “Permanently!”, but then emphasized that she no longer wanted to reveal too much about her private life. But her next comment made people sit up and take notice. Your partner on the red carpet? A big yes or a no-go?
“Of course we like to do things together sometimes. But my life doesn’t just revolve around the red carpet. Everyday life is different. It’s important to harmonize. And if you do something alone for an evening or yourself alone, it’s okay. Unless your partner really wants to do it – or is in the industry themselves,” she added with a grin. Ohh! Had a colleague captured her heart at that point?

However, if you now hear her statement about being happily single, the supposed story of the heart could already be over. Jenny doesn’t reveal any more details. You can only read this much between the lines: Even without butterflies in her stomach, she can enjoy life to the fullest.
