Justin Timberlake apologized to his ex-partner Britney Spears on Instagram. This is how wife Jessica Biel reacted.
Justin Timberlake (40, "Hindsight") apologized to his former partner Britney Spears (39) and his colleague Janet Jackson (54) for his past wrongdoing on Instagram. Among other things, the singer stated that he knew that in many moments he did not act properly "and that he benefited from a system that tolerates misogyny and racism". His wife Jessica Biel (38) responded with loving words to the remorseful mail from her husband.
"I love you," the actress commented on the post, adding a heart emoji. The 38-year-old, who has two sons with Timberlake, received thousands of fan likes for her comment. Colleagues from Timberlake such as singer Tank (45) or Grammy award winner Brandi Carlile (39) also left encouraging words under the post.
Timberlake made the public apology after the documentary "Framing Britney Spears" was published in the US in early February, which also discusses the relationship between Timberlake and Spears, who were a couple between 1998 and 2002. Some of Britney Spears' fans blame the singer for her poor image. Timberlake and Jackson, on the other hand, were the center of a controversy known as "Nipplegate". Timberlake Jackson ripped part of their costume off during a joint appearance during the Super Bowl halftime break in 2004. The singer's chest was exposed.
