Jessica Libbertz: Sky presenter is in the hospital with wound rose

Concerns about Jessica Libbertz. The Sky presenter is in a clinic and is being treated with antibiotic infusions. The diagnosis: sore rose.

The Sky presenter Jessica Libbertz (46, née Kastrop) is in a Munich hospital. She confirmed this in a written statement from the "Bild" newspaper, as she is currently not allowed to speak. "I couldn't even pack my things anymore, everything happened very quickly," says Libbertz, who should have been leading through the Bundesliga matchday on Sunday.

The suspicion of a corona infection was not confirmed thanks to a negative test. The diagnosis is, according to the report, erysipelas, colloquially also known as wound rose. Libbertz is currently being treated with several infusions of antibiotics every day to prevent the bacteria from spreading further.

Libbertz experiences "personal lockdown"

"I will need patience," writes Libbertz to the newspaper. It is not an easy situation and "my personal lockdown, so to speak". Sometimes you get signs "that you should slow down a bit". "Especially in times of Corona we should all remind ourselves more that health comes first," writes Libbertz.
