Jessica Paszka and Johannes Haller want to get married before their child is born. The father-to-be now speaks of "wishful thinking".

Jessica Paszka (30) and Johannes Haller (33) apparently have to say goodbye to a big dream. The couple, who are expecting their first child together in spring, are currently planning their wedding in their adopted home Ibiza. It seems hopeless that the former "Bachelorette" and her then runner-up can officially say yes before the birth of their child. Haller reports obviously desperate on Instagram.

A quick yes not possible?

After Haller recently telephoned the German Consulate in Palma, he had to state: "As romantic as a wedding is in theory, the more unromantic it is to get married in a formal way, that is, in a civil ceremony." The 33-year-old is confronted with several challenges: "It's not that easy. Getting all of these documents, then having them in multiple languages and sending them to the appropriate registry offices." In addition, it is the couple's wish that "we as a family naturally all have the same surname".

Will the engaged couple have to give up their dream of a lightning wedding? In any case, Haller speaks of a "project that extends over several months". In his opinion, marriage before the birth is "almost hopeless, not just because of Corona," it is pure "wishful thinking".
