From July 14th, Maxime Herbord is looking for the eighth “Bachelorette” her love happiness. Did your predecessors find great love?

From July 14th, Maxime Herbord (26) is the eighth “Bachelorette” looking for her love happiness (8:15 pm, RTL or via TVNow). Will she find the right one among the 20 single men? This is what happened to her predecessors.

Monica Ivancan

She was the first “Bachelorette” in history: In 2004, the then 27-year-old model Monica Ivancan (44) was looking for her personal “Mr. Right” from among 25 candidates. The season was filmed on the Côte d’Azur. Ivancan’s choice fell on the policeman Mark Quinkenstein. However, their liaison ended three weeks after the end of shooting and thus even before the show was broadcast. Later, the rose lady again drew media attention through her love life: Between 2005 and 2009, she was in a relationship with comedian Oliver Pocher (43).

After two failed relationships in the public eye, Ivancan has now found her private happiness: She has been with the financial entrepreneur Christian Meier since 2012, the two of them married in June 2015. She has been called Meier-Ivancan since then. The couple have two children. Daughter Rosa was born in May 2013, son Anton was born in April 2016. Mark Quinkenstein, however, withdrew from the public after his “Bachelorette” participation.

Anna Hofbauer

For several years, Anna Hofbauer (33) and the winner of the second “Bachelorette” season, Marvin Albrecht, were considered to be proof that couples can be happy together even after the end of the dome shows. Ten years after her predecessor Ivancan, the second “Bachelorette” fell in love in Portugal in 2014 with the man from Düsseldorf, who received the last rose from her. After a few months of long-distance relationships, Hofbauer moved from Berlin to Düsseldorf for Albrecht. In 2015 the couple won the RTL dance show “Stepping Out” together. After almost three years of relationship, the musical actress announced the separation in February 2017. In an interview with RTL, she later said that it had failed due to different attitudes on the subjects of having children and future plans.

In the meantime, both candidates have found a new love. In autumn 2017 it sparked between Hofbauer and the ex “Forbidden Love” actor Marc Barthel (31). The couple live together in Berlin. The first son Leo was born in 2019 and the two married in December 2020. A short time after the birth, the two actors were seen together in front of the camera in the German crime series “Notruf Hafenkante”. Marvin Albrecht is in a relationship with the model Simone Voss.

Alisa Persch

In 2015, teacher Alisa Persch chose fitness trainer Patrick Cuninka (30) as her “Bachelorette” among 20 men. Sparks flew between them in Portugal, too. But the love didn’t last long. In March 2016, they announced their breakup on their Instagram channels. Nobody gave a reason for the end of the relationship. The following year, Persch took a social media break and withdrew from the public.

In mid-August 2020, the former “Bachelorette” surprisingly announced her engagement on Instagram. She showed up with her partner and a ring on her finger and wrote “Yes! #Engaged” on the post. It is not known who the new man at her side is. After separating from ex- “Bachelor” candidate Denise Merten (31) in 2017, Cuninka made his relationship with influencer Fiona Villavecchia public in July 2019.

Jessica Paszka

After it didn’t work for Jessica Paszka (31) in 2014 with “The Bachelor” with love, she tried her luck in 2017 as “Bachelorette”. In Marbella, Spain, she met 20 men and ultimately decided in the final for Eskimo callboy singer David Friedrich (31) – and thus against the runner-up Johannes Haller (33). But the relationship between the “Bachelorette” couple lasted only a few months. In September 2017, Friedrich announced the separation from Paszka on Instagram.

After a love affair with soccer player Ajdin Hrustic (25) from 2018 to 2019, the ex-“Bachelorette” is in a relationship with her almost-chosen Johannes Haller. After secretly photographed kissing photos of the two in Ibiza, the couple confirmed their relationship in early October on the late-night show “Can he?” by Chris Tall (30). A little later, Paszka posted the first couple photo with Haller. In mid-December 2020, Paszka announced her pregnancy. A few weeks later, she also posted her engagement ring. On May 6, 2021, the two announced the birth of their daughter. In March 2019 David Friedrich introduced the “Bachelor” candidate Maxime Herbord (26) as his new girlfriend. In February 2021, they made their separation public. Herbord left the “Bachelor” season with Daniel Völz (36) voluntarily – and is now looking for the right person as the new “Bachelorette”.

Nadine Klein

In 2018, a former “Bachelor” candidate was allowed to look for love on TV as a “Bachelorette”: Nadine Klein (35) failed in the same year when Daniel Völz sent her home in the fifth episode. For this she awarded the roses herself in the fifth season of the “Bachelorette”. Your last received personal trainer Alexander Hindersmann (32). Afterwards, the two appeared as a happy couple in joint appearances such as a visit to the Oktoberfest. In November 2018, they announced their split. Klein later blamed public pressure for the failure of their relationship.

In May 2019, Klein made public on Instagram that there is a new man by her side. Her friend Tim (31), like Klein, also comes from Berlin. The two keep their love mostly out of the public eye. Alexander Hindersmann, on the other hand, took part in the subsequent “Bachelorette” season with Gerda Lewis (28) and then in the spin-off “Bachelor in Paradise” after the end of his relationship with Klein. Both times it emerged as a single from the respective format. In June 2020 he announced his relationship with ex- “Bachelor” candidate Wioleta Psiuk (28). She previously vied for “Bachelor” Sebastian Preuss (31). The couple announced their split in September 2020.

Gerda Lewis

Influencer and ex- “GNTM” candidate Gerda Lewis became the sixth “Bachelorette”. In 2019, she was looking for her dream man in RTL format. In Greece, the project engineer Keno Rüst (29) emerged as the favorite early on. He also received the model’s last rose. Almost six weeks after the final broadcast in September, the “Bachelorette” and the East Frisian went their separate ways again. During a joint California vacation, the couple noticed that they were “more like friends” to each other, Lewis said in her Instagram story in mid-October.

The former “Bachelorette” doesn’t seem to have a good knack for love. At the turn of 2020, she announced her relationship with wrestler Melvin Pelzer (26) with a kiss photo. After moving in together a short time later, the couple announced their split in July. Lewis admitted that ex-boyfriend Armist played a role in the breakup, but there was no love comeback between the “Bachelorette” couple. Armor can instead be seen in the new dating format “My date, my best friend & I”.

Melissa Damilia

Just like Paszka and Klein, Melissa Damilia (25) had dating show experience in 2020, but not as a former “Bachelor” candidate. Damilia was part of the RTLzwei dome show “Love Island” in 2019. But it shouldn’t work with love and so she went on a search for love as a “Bachelorette”. She celebrated her happy ending with winner Leander Sacher (23), with whom she is still happy today. She returned to “Love Island” in 2021 in a different capacity. She moderated the aftertalk together with Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht (29).
