When Jessica Simpson was pregnant with her daughter Birdie, complications arose. She had to be ventilated because of bronchitis.

Jessica Simpson (41) remembers a bad moment in her life. In the interview with the business magazine “Bloomberg Businessweek” the singer spoke about pregnancy with her youngest daughter Birdie (* 2019). In the 34th week of pregnancy there was a medical emergency, which is why Simpson was connected to a ventilator. “Her [Birdies] Oxygen level has dropped. I couldn’t breathe, “she said.

The cause of her breathing problems was severe bronchitis. Since Birdie was already a “very big baby” at the time, Simpson wanted to give birth to her right away. However, the doctors were able to stabilize the actress and the child in the womb, so that Simpson was released from the hospital for the time being after a week. In late March 2019, Birdie Mae was born safe and sound.

Simpson has been married to former professional football player Eric Johnson (42) since 2014. In May 2012 their first daughter Maxwell Drew was born. In June 2013 son Ace Knute was born. Birdie Mae completed the family in 2019.
