Jim Parsons: "The Big Bang Theory" star was infected with Corona

In a new video interview, actor Jim Parsons revealed that he and his spouse Todd Spiewak had Covid-19.

Jim Parsons (37), who became famous as Sheldon from the popular US sitcom "The Big Bang Theory", contracted Covid-19 at the beginning of the corona pandemic. The actor has now confirmed that in the "Tonight Show" by Jimmy Fallon (46).

Fallon stated in a video interview with the actor that he did not know about Parson's illness until shortly before the interview. He and his spouse Todd Spiewak (43) were infected early on, said the "Big Bang" star. "It was mid-March and we didn't know what it was. We thought we had a cold," he said. Then the two would suddenly have lost their sense of smell and taste. Then they would have known.

Painting is not for him

He described the time when Parsons couldn't taste anything as "brutal". But he also looked back at the disease he had overcome with a wink. Because he still ate pretty much everything, for him "the definition of wasted calories".

Because he has not been able to act in the past few months because of the pandemic, he has also looked for other outlets for his creativity and, for example, tried painting and creative writing. However, none of this was right for him.
