Star director Ridley Scott (82) makes common cause with Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix (45). As the US industry website "Deadline" reports, the "Joker" actor in Scott's new film epic "Kitbag" is to become Napoleon Bonaparte, the Emperor of the French.
The film sheds light on Napoleon's rise to emperor, his famous battles, his ambition and his strategic mind as a war visionary. Screenwriter David Scarpa, who is responsible for Scott's "Alles Geld der Welt" (All Money in the World), among other things, is to work on the script for "Kitbag".
