The film sheds light on Napoleon's rise to emperor, his famous battles, his ambition and his strategic mind as a war visionary. Screenwriter David Scarpa, who is responsible for Scott's "Alles Geld der Welt" (All Money in the World), among other things, is to work on the script for "Kitbag".
