Jobs: How to upload your resume to an application form using your iPhone?

Applying for a job can be a long, arduous and stressful task. It can take weeks or even months and dozens or even hundreds of job applications before you find a job that fits your schedule, salary, and workplace preferences.

During your job search, it is therefore important to apply whenever and wherever you can. But if you don’t always have access to a computer, it can be even more difficult to apply.

But if you have an iPhone, you can upload your resume, cover letter, and portfolio to the application form from your phone. Here’s how.

How to use your iPhone to upload your CV

What you need: You need your iPhone, CV, cover letter or portfolio. You must have already completed your CV, cover letter or portfolio. You must also ensure that these documents are in Doc, Docx or PDF format. The procedure should take 2-3 minutes.

1. Save your documents and email them to yourself

Make sure your documents are pristine and ready for a potential employer to see. Then save them and email yourself a copy of each document. If you have a Mac or MacBook, you can AirDrop documents directly to your iPhone.

2. Save documents to the Files app

Once you have emailed the documents to each other, click on the attachment and press the share button located in the upper right corner of the screen.

Then scroll down the screen and find the option Save to Files.

3. Choose the location of your documents

The next screen prompts you to choose the location of your documents in the application Files. I like to save my documents in the folder On my iPhone. Once you have chosen the location of your documents, click on the button Register in the upper right corner.

4. Upload your documents to the app

When you find a job you want to apply for, you are prompted to upload your CV. The website will then ask you if you want to upload a photo or a file. You will have to choose the file, so find your CV, cover letter or other among the saved documents. It will probably be at the top of the list, since it is the most recently saved document.

And that’s it, it’s done. You uploaded your CV or one of the other documents into an application without having to fill it out on a computer.

Now complete the rest of the application and wait for the employer’s response. Good luck !
