The elected US President Joe Biden reports after his public corona vaccination. It is aimed at researchers and the people.

The elected US President Joe Biden (78) was vaccinated against corona in front of the cameras in a hospital in Newark on Monday. Then he called on his countrymen to do the same as soon as possible. A little later, he repeated in an Instagram post that there was no reason to worry.

"Today I received the Covid-19 vaccine," he wrote. "To the scientists and researchers who have worked tirelessly to make this possible – thank you very much. We owe you a great deal," he said to the medical professionals. He then addressed the people again: "And the American people – be sure there is nothing to worry. If the vaccine is available, be sure to take it," Biden appealed.

The next first lady, Jill Biden, 69, was also vaccinated in Newark, Delaware. At this appointment, the Biden couple received the first of two syringes with the vaccine from Pfizer and Biontech.

Pioneer Vice President Mike Pence

On Friday morning (December 18), Donald Trumps (74) Vice Mike Pence (61) and his wife Karen (63) had themselves vaccinated in front of the cameras. The vaccination took place in the White House and was broadcast on US television. This should "show the safety and efficacy of the vaccine and instill confidence in the American people," it said on the part of the government.

"I didn't feel anything – well done," Pence said, according to the New York Times, shortly after he was injected by an agent at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
