The next US President Joe Biden can always count on one thing and that is the support of his large family. He already has seven grandchildren.
The designated US President Joseph Robinette "Joe" Biden, Jr. (77) is not only the future father of the Americans, he also has his own large blended family. Two of his four children have meanwhile made him a seven-time grandfather. Large parts of the family clan must not be absent from the stage at important public events.

His wife Dr. Jill Biden (69) is almost always present at his public appearances. The two met on a blind date in 1975, have been married since 1977 and have a daughter: Ashley Biden (39).
She, too, likes to support her famous father on important occasions, most recently on November 7th in Wilmington, Delaware, when he gave his first speech as President-elect. But she does not have her own ambitions to go into politics. After many years in social work, she developed the sweatshirt label "Livelihood" in 2017. Part of the proceeds from the sale of the sweatshirts and hoodies designed and produced in the USA go to charitable purposes.
Ashley Biden has been working with doctor Dr. Howard Kerin married. The two have never had a child. And yet Joe Biden already has half a soccer team of grandchildren.
Seven little bright spots despite the deaths
Dr. Jill Biden is Joe Biden's second wife. From 1966 until her tragic accidental death in 1972, he was married to the teacher Neilia Hunter Biden (1942-1972). With her he had three children, the two sons Beau (1969-2015) and Hunter (50) as well as daughter Naomi (1971-1972). One-year-old Naomi died with her mother in the car accident. Nevertheless, Biden had to say goodbye forever, he died five years ago at the age of 46 of a malignant brain tumor.
But despite the deaths, there are also many bright spots in the large blended family. Beau and his wife and widow (2002-2015) Hallie Biden gave his father two grandchildren, Natalie (16) and Hunter (14). Natalie has already accompanied her grandfather to some election campaign dates, such as the ceremony on the occasion of the Delaware Memorial Day in New Castle in May 2019.
Joe Biden also has five grandchildren from son Robert "Hunter" Biden. Three granddaughters come from the business lobbyist's first marriage (1993-2017) to Kathleen Buhle. In August 2018, their son Alexis Roberts was born with Lunden. Hunter Biden has been married to Melissa Cohen since May 2019. The two made Joe Biden a seven-time grandfather with the birth of their son in March 2020.
