In the international top lists of the most trending personalities of the year on Google, Joe Biden has the edge.

In an international comparison, there was no other personality who was so trendy as the elected US President Joe Biden (78). This emerges from an annual review published by Google. What is measured is not the general frequency of search queries, but the increase in queries compared to the previous year.

Tom Hanks is the most popular actor

In the list of personalities, Biden has the lead, as was the case in the US presidential election against Donald Trump (74) in November. North Korean head of state Kim Jong-un (36) and Boris Johnson (56), the British Prime Minister, follow in the ranks. Biden's future Vice President Kamala Harris (56) lands on number four and Hollywood megastar Tom Hanks (64, "Forrest Gump") is the only actor on the list to secure fifth place. The African American Jacob Blake (29), rapper Kanye West (43), Epstein confidante Ghislaine Maxwell (58), musician August Alsina (28) and racing driver Ryan Newman (43) complete the list.

Of course, that makes Hanks number one among the most trending actors. "Joker" star Joaquin Phoenix (46) and the Indian actor Amitabh Banchchan (78) are also on the podium. Behind them are Brit Ricky Gervais (59), Will Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith (49), Justin Hartley (43), Lea Michele (34), Eleazar Gómez (34), Ansel Elgort (26) and Michail Olegowitsch Jefremow (57) .
