Joe Biden (78) has set up in the Oval Office. A photo of his late son Beau Biden (1969-2015) also found a special place, as pictures from the White House show. Several framed pictures can be seen behind the desk of the new US President, including Beau with his little son on his shoulder. The lawyer died in 2015 at the age of 46 from complications from a brain tumor.
The Biden family doesn't just remember Beau through pictures. The youngest child of Joe Biden's son Hunter (50) and his wife Melissa is called Beau. And the ten-month-old grandson of the president already made a big appearance after the inauguration. Joe Biden's large blended family always supports the new president in his appearances. His wife and new first lady Dr. Jill Biden (69) is almost always by his side. The two met on a blind date in 1975, have been married since 1977 and have a daughter: Ashley Biden (39). After many years in social work, the 39-year-old, who has been working with doctor Dr. Howard Kerin is married to the sweatshirt label "Livelihood". Part of the proceeds from the sale of the sweatshirts and hoodies designed and produced in the USA go to charitable purposes.
Dr. Jill Biden is Joe Biden's second wife. From 1966 until her accidental death in 1972, he was married to the teacher Neilia Hunter Biden (1942-1972). With her he had three children, two sons Beau and Hunter and daughter Naomi (1971-1972). One-year-old Naomi died with her mother in the car accident.
Seven grandchildren
Beau and his wife Hallie Biden (46) had two children, Natalie (16) and Robert (14). Natalie has already accompanied her famous grandfather to a number of election campaign dates such as the ceremony on the occasion of the Delaware Memorial Day in New Castle in May 2019.
The new president also has five grandchildren from son Hunter Biden. Three granddaughters, Maisy (20), Finnegan (21) and Naomi (27), come from the business lobbyist's first marriage (1993-2017) to Kathleen Buhle. In August 2018, their son Alexis Roberts was born with Lunden. Hunter Biden has been married to Melissa Cohen since May 2019. The two made Joe Biden a seven-time grandfather with the birth of their son in March 2020.
