US President experiences bicycle crash

Joe Biden caused a moment of shock on Saturday morning. The US President fell off his bike but quickly got back on his feet.
Joe Biden (79) is spending the weekend in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, to celebrate his 45th wedding anniversary with his wife Jill Biden (71), which the couple celebrated last Friday (June 17). On Saturday morning, the US President, accompanied by his security guards and his wife, jumped on his bike.

As photos and a short clip show, which are available, among others, from the British “Daily Mail”., Biden had to cope with a small mishap on the tour: the 79-year-old fell off his bike after he tried to approach passers-by who gave him enthusiastic shouts. When trying to get off the bike, he fell sideways, but got up again a few moments later.
Beforehand, many helping hands were extended to him by the Secret Service and the rest of those present. Biden assured reporters at the scene that he was fine and that his shoes were caught in the pedals. The US President was able to get back on his bike and apparently continue his tour. Like the White House according to the New York Post announced in a statement that Biden was doing well. “No medical attention is required. The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family.”
