Short moment of shock: US President Joe Biden (78) stumbled several times while climbing the stairs to Air Force One. As TV recordings show, Biden initially missed a step and was still able to keep his balance. A few steps later he stumbled again on the gangway and landed on his knees. In the last resort he could still hold on to the railing with his hand and thus probably prevented a worse fall.

Only a little later, the White House reported that Biden was not injured and was fine. It was said that he did not need any medical help. It was only at the end of last year that Biden suffered minor fatigue fractures in his foot while playing with his dog and had to wear a support shoe for a while so that the injury could heal and his leg was spared.
