WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Joe Biden’s administration will on Monday propose introducing a minimum tax targeting the wealthiest Americans as part of the 2023 budget, the Washington Post reports.
Joe Biden’s ‘Billionaire Minimum Income Tax’ would set a minimum tax rate of 20% for households with wealth over $100 million, as part of a plan that would target 700 Richest Americans, the newspaper wrote on Saturday, citing sources and an administrative document.
