The Netflix star Joe Exotic (57) mourns his father Francis Schreibvogel. As the US portal "TMZ" reports, Schreibvogel died in connection with a severe course of his Covid 19 disease. According to the report, the imprisoned "Tiger King" is currently trying to obtain a permit that would allow him to attend the funeral. The celebrations are scheduled for Saturday, January 9th in Oklahoma.
The death collides with the pardon attempts currently underway by the legal team of Joseph Allen Schreibvogel, the real name of Joe Exotic. According to US media reports, his lawyers in Washington D.C. speak to the staff of US President Donald Trump (74) in order to be able to carry out the pardon as soon as possible.
Joe Exotic was sentenced to 22 years in prison in April 2020, among other things for attempted murder. The former operator of a private zoo with big cats became known through the Netflix documentary series "Big cats and their predators", in the English original simply "Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness".
