Joe Exotic: How bad is the "Tiger King" star?

Does Joe Exotic really have only a few months left to live? His husband explains how the Netflix star is doing in prison.

Does Joe Exotic (57) have to fear for his life in prison? The former zoo owner, who became known worldwide due to the Netflix documentary "Big cats and their predators", is serving a 22-year prison sentence – partly because he is said to have commissioned a man to murder his arch enemy Carole Baskin (59). Joe Exotic's husband Dillon Passage (24) has now explained how badly the self-proclaimed "Tiger King" should be doing.

According to this, Exotic has been in solitary confinement for four months and cannot receive a personal visit. "I've only been able to speak to him six times since the show. It's pretty ridiculous," said Dillon Passage on The Sunday Project, Australia. "He does not feel good." Joe couldn't "understand and stay up to date on what's happening out here."

Doesn't he get medical treatment?

Previously, Joe Exotic reportedly described in letters himself how he is behind bars. His soul dies "a little every day," quotes "TMZ". The 57-year-old also claims that he is prevented from calling his husband and is also denied medical treatment that he needs due to illness. He would "be dead in two to three months," the Netflix star said.

Dillon Passage said: "It tears me up inside. Joe has to get his transfusions, otherwise he won't make it," he said of his husband's autoimmune disorder. Meanwhile, Joe Exotics lawyers apparently continue to rely on US President Donald Trump (74) – the team wants to ask him to pardon the Netflix star.
