In his music video for the new single "Ungeschminkt", singer Johannes Oerding (38) has changed completely. The video for the song, which the singer released at the end of September, premiered on Monday (October 12). Oerding begins his transformation right in the first excerpts: he shaves off his hair and puts on make-up. In the last scene he steps on stage – completely transformed – as a travesty artist.
The song has an important message for the musician, as he explains: "At first glance, the song 'Ungeschminkt' is a little love song, but when you see it, it also deals with acceptance and tolerance in our society the outer surface, which in my eyes has become far too important. " The accompanying video depicts the conflict in which many people find themselves and is intended to motivate them to stand by themselves and their philosophy of life. "Sometimes with brave decisions," says Oerding.
