John Callahan, known from the soap opera "All My Children", died at the age of 66. A spokesman for the actor confirmed the US celebrity portal "TMZ". Callahan died of a severe stroke.
Callahan played the role of Edmund Gray in "All My Children" from 1992 to 2005. Callahan also met Eva LaRue (53, "Fuller House") while filming the series. In it she played his wife Maria. And in real life the couple was married from 1996 to 2004. LaRue mourns her ex-husband in a touching post on Instagram.
"Your social personality will leave a huge hole in our hearts forever. We're devastated – my good friend, my co-parent, and loving father," LaRue writes to a photo of Callahan with whom she has a daughter, Kaya (18) has. "Kayas and my heart is broken, we are stunned, my thoughts are racing (…) I have no words," continues LaRue.
