US star John Reilly died at the age of 84. He was best known for his roles in "General Hospital" and "Beverly Hills, 90210".
US actor John Reilly (1936-2021) died on Saturday. He was 84 years old. His daughter, social media star Caitlin Reilly, announced the news of her father's death on Instagram on Sunday. She did not name a cause of death.
"John Henry Matthew Reilly AKA Jack. The brightest light in the world is out," she wrote on a papa-daughter throwback photo. "Imagine the best people in the world. And now imagine that this person is your father. I'm so grateful that he was mine. I'm so grateful that I was allowed to love him. I'm so grateful that I managed to hold it and say goodbye in time, "continued Caitlin Reilly. "I honestly don't know what's going to come, but I know he'll be with me," she added. "I love you forever daddy."
John Reilly was best known for his role in "General Hospital" (since 1963). In 2008 he was a guest star in the spin-off "General Hospital: Night Shift". In 2013 he played Sean Donely for the last time. He also had recurring roles in the hit series "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1990-2000) and "Dallas" (1978-1991).
