John Stamos is causing a stir with his biography. In it he describes that his girlfriend at the time cheated on him with Tony Danza.

“Full House” star John Stamos (60) makes spicy accusations in his biography “If You Would Have Tell Me,” which will be published on October 24th. The actor claims that he caught his former girlfriend Teri Copley (62) in bed with “Who’s the Boss?” actor Tony Danza (72) in the 1980s. However, the affected person emphasizes that she and Stamos were already separated at the time.

Stamos describes how he went to Copley’s guest house around 40 years ago and found the actress sleeping in bed with a muscular man. He then stumbled backwards out of the room and didn’t immediately recognize Danza. “But I remember running down the driveway with tears streaming down my face, not wanting anyone to see me.” He only identified the stranger as Danza when he saw a poster of Copley on the front seat of a car parked in front of the house. She signed it “My Dear Tony”. Then he suddenly realized who the man with abs in her bed was.

“It took me a long time to get over it”

Stamos is currently speaking in several US media outlets about the alleged fraud. “It took me a long time to get over it,” he said to the US magazine “People”. It was “physically painful” and “worse than anything else.” “I can’t explain it, but I would rather have gotten punched in the nose again or something because the pain is just so overwhelming,” he admitted “Entertainment Weekly” . “Looking back, she probably wasn’t the right girl for me.” But the fact that she got involved with Tony Danza hit him hard: “Seeing him, realizing it was him and everything, was hard. I mean, it was terrible.”

Teri Copley, on the other hand, describes the matter completely differently. She and Stamos were no longer a couple at the time, which is why there could be no question of cheating. “I asked myself, ‘What was John doing there?’ “Because we broke up. He just looked at me, shook his head and walked away,” she told People.

John Stamos explains why he even writes (and speaks) about the incident that happened decades ago with the “relevance” of the event. “I wanted to find really relatable things that happened in my life. Because I think everyone thinks, ‘Oh, this guy doesn’t have any problems.’ I’m sure he’s never been cheated on.'” He is an example of how it also happens to people who supposedly have everything. It could just happen to anyone. In his eyes, however, everything “balanced out”. After all, he became just as successful with his series as Danza, who had already achieved success with “Who’s the Boss Here?” was a star.
