After the death of his wife, John Travolta thanked his fans for their support – and gave them a "Pulp Fiction" reunion.

For the first time in almost 30 years, Hollywood star John Travolta (66) had to tackle Thanksgiving without his wife Kelly Preston – the actress died in July of this year at the age of 57 as a result of longstanding cancer. A visibly moved Travolta has now thanked his fans in a short video for their support during this difficult time via Instagram. "I would like to take this moment to thank each and every one of you for supporting me in such incredible ways this year," said Travolta.

A few days ago, son Ben celebrated his tenth birthday – the first without his mother. Preston was diagnosed with breast cancer two years before her death on July 12, 2020. A spokesman for the family had stated shortly after her death that Preston had deliberately kept her illness private.

Special Christmas present for all "Pulp Fiction" fans

Despite his deep grief, Travolta found the time and motivation to give his fans, especially the "Pulp Fiction" fans among them, a lovable gift. In a new commercial he not only slips into the role of Santa Claus, but also celebrates a reunion with his "Pulp Fiction" killer colleague Samuel L. Jackson (71) as such. But because the latter still scolds like a pipe sparrow, he does not make it off the strict Santa Claus' "naughty list" despite money-saving tips.

Fans of Quentin Tarantino (57) will find various other allusions to his Oscar-winning film in the clip, which is exactly one minute long. From a (five dollar expensive?) Milkshake to a very special dance cup. At the end of the commercial, Travolta proves again what it was for in 1994 at the side of Uma Thurman (50) – this time with Mrs. Santa Claus.
