The American actor Johnny Crawford is dead. He was known, among other things, from the western series “West of Santa Fé”.

Johnny Crawford (1946-2021) is dead. The US actor and singer died on April 29 at the age of 75, including among others the business magazine “Forbes” and the industry journal “Variety” reported unanimously. His wife Charlotte was with him in the actor’s last moments. The cause of death is currently unknown.

In 2019 it became public that Crawford was fighting Alzheimer’s disease. Later, according to “Variety”, he allegedly got infected with the corona virus and also suffered from pneumonia. The actor, who was nominated for an Emmy at the age of only 13, was known from the western series “Westlich von Santa Fé” (originally “The Rifleman”). Crawford also appeared in the comedy series “Mr. Ed” and in “Mord ist ihr Hobby”.
