If the actress assures that her ex-companion was violent when he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol, his doctor revealed that the actor was trying to get rid of his addictions when he was engaged to Amber Heard. According to David Kipper, Johnny Depp suffered from depression and anxiety and had “fear“to get rid of opiates after becoming addicted to them following a dental procedure. During his testimony, the doctor added that the father of Lily Rose Depp planned to do a two-week rehab at his home in the Caribbean islands.
If the actor wanted to get out of it, David Kipper said that at times he was hesitant to start rehab. “He didn’t think he could do it. This changed after a conversation; he was back on board“, he assured. In July 2020, Johnny Depp had mentioned his addictions in court. He then explained: “My experience with alcohol and stimulants started at a very young age. I didn’t have a particularly stable or safe family life, there was a lot of inconvenience at home. I remember my mother asking me for her nerve pills. Around the age of 11, I realized these pills calmed my nerves, so I took them home and took one. Began what was the only way to dull the pain.“

While Amber Heard accuses him of domestic violence, the actor assured that he was too weakened by drugs to attack her. “I was in a lot of pain and had uncontrollable spasms. I didn’t push or attack Miss Heard, I was definitely in no condition to do so.“, he confided to the bar. For his part, the doctor of Johnny Depp confided that for a long time, his relatives had feared that he abused Xanax.
