According to David Kipper, Johnny Depp suffered from depression and anxiety and had “fear“to get rid of opiates after becoming addicted to them following a dental procedure. During his testimony, the doctor added that the father of Lily Rose Depp planned to do a two-week rehab at his home in the Caribbean islands.
If the actor wanted to get out of it, David Kipper said that at times he was hesitant to start rehab. “He didn’t think he could do it. This changed after a conversation; he was back on board“, he assured. In July 2020, Johnny Depp had mentioned his addictions in court. He then explained: “My experience with alcohol and stimulants started at a very young age. I didn’t have a particularly stable or safe family life, there was a lot of inconvenience at home. I remember my mother asking me for her nerve pills. Around the age of 11, I realized these pills calmed my nerves, so I took them home and took one. Began what was the only way to dull the pain.“
