Johnny Depp appeared on the red carpet of the Rome Film Festival. He did this in a good mood and in the best Jack Sparrow look.

With a smile on his face and an outfit that is reminiscent of his parade role as the pirate Jack Sparrow, Johnny Depp (58) appeared at the film festival in Rome. Pictures from the red carpet show the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star in a good mood and clearly happy to be part of the event. Again and again he made this clear with gestures of thanks in the direction of his fans, who cheered him.

Among other things, he also posed with a person in a bird costume on the red carpet. It is a character from the animated series “Puffins”, which was shown at the Rome Film Festival. In the Apple production, Depp lends his voice to one of the five puffin puffins that give the title – Johnny Puffin.

Litigation and “Cancel Culture”

The US actor did not have much reason to be happy recently. The bitter court battle in favor of his ex-wife Amber Heard (35) was followed by his public ostracism. Nobody is safe from the “immediate agitation for judgments” in the course of the “cancel culture”. He said that at a press conference at the San Sebastián International Film Festival, where he received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the end of September 2021.
