According BFM TVthe two artists who go release an album this summer will perform on July 14 alongside other headliners like Deep Purple and Ben Harper.

Jacques Falda, the president of the Guitare en scène festival spoke about the arrival of Johnny Depp. “We had negotiated the arrival of Jeff Beck in 2019, for 2020. And I absolutely wanted a guest” he confided to BFM TV before going on to explain that he wanted to return “the concert more accessible for people who would not be absolute fans of Jeff Beck“.
According to the president of the festival, the name of Johnny Depp had already circulated in the past. Indeed, the 58-year-old guitarist had recorded in 2020 a cover ofInsulation by John Lennon with Jeff Beck. “We thought it would be him, but we weren’t sure” finally confided Jacques Falda before saying to himself “delighted” of his coming. Rumors are now circulating about the presence of the actor of Pirates of the Caribbean alongside the British artist at other French festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Jazz in Marciac or the Jardin Sonore festival in Vitrolle. However, no date has yet been confirmed.
