But a spokesperson for the actor has just denied the information on NBC News, simply stating: “It’s invented“. Disney would therefore not have offered Johnny Depp to return in the costume of the Captain of the Black Pearl.
Johnny Depp’s return to the saga was reported by the tabloid poptopic before being picked up by the New York Post and making the rounds in the media around the world.
