Hollywood Vampires member Johnny Depp has had to postpone his US tour after suffering a painful ankle injury.

Protection for European tour

The rock supergroup – comprised of Depp, Alice Cooper, 75, Joe Perry, 72, and Tommy Henriksen, 59 – confirmed the actor’s injury on Monday and announced new dates for three East Coast shows originally scheduled for this week were planned. The band added that Depp was “devastated” by this but was looking forward to resting “so that all four vampires can do their absolute best on the European tour”.

The upcoming concerts in Boston, Manchester and Bethel will now take place on July 28th, 29th and 30th. All tickets remain valid for the new dates.

The Hollywood Vampires will begin their overseas tour on June 8th at the Romexpo in Bucharest, Romania, followed by additional dates in Europe through the end of July.

Johnny Depp: “It got worse between Cannes and the Royal Albert Hall”

Johnny Depp also spoke personally. He gave an update on his ankle injury in an Instagram story on Monday. “It started out as a hairline fracture, but somewhere between Cannes and the Royal Albert Hall it got worse rather than better,” Depp wrote in his post, referring to the Cannes Film Festival and a tribute concert for his late fellow musician and friend Jeff Beck (1944 -2023). “Several medical professionals have urged me to avoid all activities at the moment and as such I am unfortunately unable to travel.”
