Johnson & johnson: Earnings per share are $6.73 in 2022


(CercleFinance.com) – The group announces a 4.4% drop in turnover in the fourth quarter of 2022 to 23.7 billion dollars, mainly due to unfavorable exchange rates and a drop in sales of the COVID vaccine -19 compared to the previous year. Operating growth excluding COVID-19 Vaccine was 4.6%.

Earnings per share (EPS) was $1.33 in the fourth quarter of 2022, down 24.9%, and adjusted EPS was $2.35, up 10.3%.

Annual revenue growth was 1.3% to $94.9 billion, mainly due to good commercial management, partially offset by unfavorable exchange rates. Operational growth is 6.1%.

Earnings per share (EPS) is $6.73 in 2022, down 13.8%, and adjusted EPS is $10.15, up 3.6%.

The company expects 2023 adjusted operating revenue growth, excluding COVID-19 vaccine, of 4.0% and adjusted operating EPS of $10.50, reflecting growth of 3.5%.
