Joko and Klaas: With this quiz show they expose conspiracy theories

On Tuesday evening, Joko Winterscheidt (41) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (36) won the latest edition of the entertainment show "Joko & Klaas against ProSieben", earning live broadcasting time that was freely available to them. On Wednesday, you redeemed the voucher directly and held a fifteen-minute call-in show on the station called "Who Believes Something?". In this the two moderators took up numerous conspiracy theories about the corona virus.

"The Corona Call-in Show"

Viewers aged 16 and over who were "in their right minds" could call to answer relevant questions – and win a few hundred euros. For example, one of several quiz games asked where the coronavirus came from. Could climate change activist Greta Thunberg (17) or Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates (64) be to blame for the spread of the virus? Or is the whole thing not yet clearly proven? A caller tapped Gates.

With their "Corona Call-in-Show" the TV presenters didn't just want to entertain. After all the mockery, Winterscheidt and Heufer-Umlauf indirectly expressed the wish that one should remain level headed despite all fears at this extraordinary time.
